OLD BRIDGE, N.J. (11/29/18) – R.J. Brunelli & Co., LLC today announced the recent completion of a series of leases that will introduce national and local retailers and service providers to sites in New Jersey and Delaware.

In its role as Dollar Tree’s exclusive real estate representative statewide, R.J. Brunelli brokered two additional leases for sites in central New Jersey. In the central region, Dollar Tree opened in November in a 9,000-square-foot endcap unit at The Marketplace, located at Route 34 and Disbrow Road in Matawan. R.J. Brunelli also served as exclusive leasing broker for the owners of the 55,000-square-foot property, which was one of New Jersey’s first off-price centers and today houses such other chains as Tuesday Morning, Dress Barn, Carter’s and Harmon’s. The firm also represented The Marketplace on a lease for Action Uniform Company, which opened its fourth New Jersey store in a 3,000-square-foot inline space in early October.

In the other central New Jersey Dollar Tree deal, the chain expects to open in March 2019 in a 13,717-square-foot inline space at Tano Mall, located at Amboy and Pierson Avenues in Edison. Dollar Tree will occupy a space that previously housed a Rite Aid drugstore at the 115,000-square-foot center.

All of the Dollar Tree leases and the Action Uniform deal were brokered by Danielle Brunelli, President and Principal of the Old Bridge-based brokerage.

In Monmouth County, Ms. Brunelli represented the landlord on a lease for 12,816-square-foot Goodwill Industries store and donation center at Navesink Center on Route 36 in Middletown. Expected to open in February 2019, the store will occupy the balance of the property’s former A&P supermarket, adjoining the recently opened 10,920-square-foot Dollar Tree signed by Ms. Brunelli earlier this year. R.J. Brunelli serves as exclusive broker for the 43,200-square-foot center, which is also undergoing a façade renovation.

Elsewhere in central New Jersey, Senior Sales Associate John Lenaz completed two leases for Main Street Shopping Center, a new 13,800-square-foot property at Main Street and Old Stage Road in East Brunswick. March 2019 openings are planned for a Ten Dimes dollar store in 1,460 square feet and HairSpace, a full-service salon that will occupy 1,407 square feet. R.J. Brunelli serves as exclusive leasing representative for the Middlesex County property, which is anchored by 7-Eleven. Mr. Lenaz also represented the tenants on both leases.

In Delaware, Ms. Brunelli represented Delaware Apothecary on a lease that recently brought the pharmacy specializing in dermatology products to a 1,650-square-foot inline space at Center Pointe Plaza on Churchmans Road in Newark. The 252,000-square-foot power center is anchored by Home Depot, T.J. Maxx and PetSmart. R.J. Brunelli & Co. is the preferred broker for Delaware Apothecary. This is the company’s first location in the state, with locations already established in New York and New Jersey.
