R.J. BRUNELLI & CO. ANNOUNCES LEASES FOR ALDI, AAMCO, DOLLAR TREE, SPEED PRO AND OTHER TENANTS IN NJ AND ACROSS THE NATION
OLD BRIDGE, N.J. (5/14 /15) – R.J. Brunelli & Co., LLC today announced the recent
completion of a series of leases that will bring major retailers, automotive services, personal and business
services to sites in New Jersey and nationwide.
In its role as exclusive broker for Edison Commons at 2120 Rte. 27 in Edison, N.J., the firm
brokered a lease that will bring an Aldi Supermarket to a new, freestanding 17,000-square-foot building
on the property. The move will more than double the gross leasable area of the 16,000-square-foot center,
whose current tenants include Verizon Wireless, 7-Eleven, Little Caesars, GEICO, and Entenmann’s
Bakery Outlet. Aldi, the nation’s leading low-price grocer, operates nearly 1,300 stores in 32 states. R.J.
Brunelli principal Ron Deluca and sales associate Alan Gott introduced Aldi to the site, while sales
associate John Lenaz represented the landlord.
In addition to Aldi, GoGo Uniforms signed for a 1,234-square-foot in-line space at Edison
Commons, with Mr. Lenaz representing both the landlord and tenant on the transaction. R.J. Brunelli is a
preferred broker for the retailer of medical uniforms and accessories, which recently opened its first store
in Newark.
Also in New Jersey, Dollar Tree signed leases that will bring the nation’s largest single-price-
point retailer to locations in Washington Borough (Warren County) and Florence (Burlington County). In
Washington, the chain signed for a 9,289-square-foot space anchoring Warren Plaza, a 61,000-square-foot
center located at 401 East Washington Ave. In Florence, the chain leased a freestanding 11,470-square-
foot building at 2087 Route 130, near Florence-Columbus Rd. The site, which adjoins a Rite Aid drug
store, previously housed a party goods retailer. These latest transactions follow leases brokered by senior
vice president/principal Danielle Brunelli for Dollar Tree during the second half of 2014 in
Colonia, Burlington, Pleasantville, Voorhees and Brigantine. R.J. Brunelli serves as the retailer’s
exclusive real estate representative for all of New Jersey.
In other recent deals, The Max Challenge, a franchisor of fitness centers with locations in New
Jersey, New York and California, signed for a 2,400-square-foot inline space at Three Brooks Plaza on
Rte. 9 North in Freehold. R. J. Brunelli is the exclusive national tenant representative for Max Challenge
Franchising, with co-account manager Patti Fiore negotiating the Freehold deal, as well as leases signed
during the second half of 2014 for Jersey City and Montclair,
Elsewhere in Monmouth County, R.J. Brunelli brokered the lease for a European Wax Center
franchisee for a 1,300-square-foot space at Howell Commons, located at Rte. 9 and Locust Ave. in
Howell. The center is anchored by Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx and Michaels. This follows leases brokered by the
firm last year in Freehold, Aberdeen and Piscataway in its role as European Wax Center’s exclusive
broker for central New Jersey. Ms. Brunelli brokered all of the deals.
Outside of New Jersey, in its role as exclusive national leasing representative for AAMCO
transmission and total car repair, R.J. Brunelli brokered a lease for a 3,000-square-foot freestanding
building at 2727 North Scottsdale Road, in Scottsdale, Ariz. This lease follows transactions that the Old
Bridge-based firm completed for the company’s franchisees late last year in Pennsauken, N.J. and Easton,
Pa. All deals were brokered by Ms. Fiore, who serves as AAMCO account manager.
In its role as national master real estate broker for Speed Pro Imaging, R.J. Brunelli & Co.
represented the company’s franchisees on leases for a 4,000-square-foot space at the I-70/270 Business
Park in Denver, Colo., and a 3,750-square-foot space at the NDS Commerce Center in Sugarland, Tex.
Late last year, the firm brokered a lease for Speed Pro, the nation’s leader in high-quality, large format
imagery for business, in Blountville, Tenn. R.J. Brunelli account manager Joseph Amecangelo
represented the tenant on all three deals, with Brandi Spencer of Denver-based RE1313 co-brokering the
Denver transaction.
