R.J. BRUNELLI & CO. ANNOUNCES LEASES FOR AAMCO, DOLLAR TREE AND OTHERS IN N.J., VA. AND FLA.
OLD BRIDGE, N.J. (3/10/16) – R.J. Brunelli & Co., LLC today announced the recent completion of a series of leases that will introduce automotive services, and national and local retailers to sites in New Jersey, Virginia and Florida.
In its role as exclusive national leasing representative for AAMCO, R.J. Brunelli brokered three deals that are bringing the world’s largest chain of transmission specialists and leader in total car care to sites in Virginia and Florida. The deals, brokered by sales associate Patti Fiore, who serves as AAMCO account manager, include a lease for the chain’s first location in Virginia, a 2,500-square-foot building located at 3035 High St. in Portsmouth. Elsewhere, Ms. Fiore brokered deals for a 10,500-square-foot location at 3821 U.S. 1 in Fort Pierce and a 2,548-square-foot building at 601 N.W. 22nd Ave. in Miami. The Portsmouth, Va. AAMCO center is projected to open in this year’s third quarter, while the Miami and Fort Pierce locations opened in January.
In its capacity as Dollar Tree’s exclusive real estate representative for all of New Jersey, the Old Bridge-based firm brokered a lease that will bring the nation’s largest single-price-point retailer to a 9,333-square-foot inline space at Sunken Branch Mall, 1071 Rte. 37 West in Toms River. Dollar Tree, which is expected to open this spring, will occupy the space that previously housed a CVS drug store. CVS moved across the street to obtain a drive-through location. This latest Dollar Tree lease—which followed deals completed earlier in 2015 that brought Dollar Tree stores to seven locations around New Jersey—was brokered by R.J. Brunelli President/Principal Danielle Brunelli.
In other New Jersey transactions, the firm represented the landlord in a ground lease that will bring Mavis Discount Tire to a 4,000-square-foot freestanding building that formerly housed a Citgo gas station and an independent auto repair shop at Rte. 34 and Lloyd Rd. in Aberdeen. The deal was brokered by sales associate John Lenaz. Mavis is expected to open at the site this fall.
Also in Monmouth County, sales associate Nick DeLuca represented the landlord in a transaction that brought the recently opened Long Branch Beauty Supply to a 2,000-square-foot inline space at Suburban Plaza, 492 Joline Ave. in Long Branch. R.J. Brunelli is exclusive leasing agent for the 19,200-square-foot convenience center anchored by Dunkin’ Donuts and Welsh Farms.
Finally, in Middlesex County, Mr. Lenaz represented the tenant on the lease that will bring Mollaga Indian Grill to a 2,540-square-foot space at the Shoppes at North Brunswick, a 150,000-square-foot lifestyle center at the intersection of Rtes. 1 and 130. The restaurant is expected to open later this year.
