Peter Reinhart

Peter S. Reinhart, Esq. has had a distinguished career in the real estate industry. For over 30 years, he was the Senior Vice-President and General Counsel for Hovnanian Enterprises, Inc., the largest homebuilder in New Jersey and one of the nation’s largest. He is now a Professor in real estate and the Director of the Kislak Real Estate Institute at Monmouth University, the first university in New Jersey to offer a degree in real estate. He has taught courses in Real Estate Development, Lease Negotiations, and Real Estate Law among others. He is the Past President of the New Jersey Builders Association and is now the Chair of New Jersey Future, the leading non-profit organization for smart growth in New Jersey. He is a judge for the NAIOP’s annual Deal of the Year Awards. In addition, he has a long history of community involvement with many organizations and is now the Vice-Chair of Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest healthcare network. He is a graduate of Rutgers Law School, with Honors.
