OLD BRIDGE, N.J. (9/8/16)—R.J. Brunelli & Co., LLC today announced that veteran commercial real estate salesperson Peter H. Nicholson has joined the firm as a senior sales associate.

Mr. Nicholson brings over 30 years of sales and management experience in the real estate and chemical industries to his new position at the Old Bridge-based retail real estate brokerage, including the last 17 years as a licensed salesperson with Metro Commercial Real Estate, Mount Laurel, N.J., representing landlords and tenants on leases and sales.

During his tenure with Metro Commercial, Mr. Nicholson completed leases with a total revenue consideration of over $300 million for more than 200 tenants, including The Home Depot, Stop & Shop, LA Fitness, Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Walgreens, TD Bank, and Chase Bank. In his capacity as a landlord representative, he most recently served as leasing and de facto project manager on a number of shopping centers undergoing redevelopment. This role included directing renovation concepts, supervising architectural and structural engineering designs, reviewing construction bids, and completing preliminary and final financial proforma returns for renovations exceeding $5 million.

Prior to joining Metro Commercial in 1999, Mr. Nicholson was employed at global chemicals manufacturer Rohm and Haas Company, starting as a development engineer in 1978. Over the next 21 years, he moved up the ranks, serving as Engineering Group Leader, Technical Sales Representative, Market Manager for General Industrial Coatings, Worldwide Market Manager Architectural Specialty Coatings, and National Account Manager.

A resident of Madison, N.J., Mr. Nicholson graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 1978. In addition, he was selected by Rohm and Haas to attend the two-year Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1992.
